NETBALL opportunity for our A to C team players to finish the season in style and showcase their progress this year. Our U15As and Bs both won their respective tournaments with the U15Cs coming in second. At U14 level we also took home medals with our A and B team picking up bronze medals and our Cs coming home with the silver.
To end the season on a high, we were delighted to invite back a group of recent Old Sennockians to take on the staff and leavers in an end-of-season triangular! Three fantastic matches followed and although the OS still displayed their talent, it was the staff who took home the championship title. Thank you to Miss Dorrington for running such a successful netball programme this year!

In a year of challenge and growth, the U16s earn a place at the regional finals, while younger teams impress with their progress and tournament success.
This year has been one of trials and tribulations but has continued to provide opportunities for pupils to thrive. This year we have had over 175 fixtures, with over 31 different teams representing the school.
Our U16s continued to build on their success from last year to gain a spot at the regional finals. A tough day ensued but with the entire team being a year young we look forward to next year for this outstanding squad.
Elsewhere our U14s and U15s took part in the inaugural end-of-season tournaments at Lord Wandsworth and Charterhouse. This was a fantastic
This year has had its highs and lows, but we have learned from every experience and head into next season fully determined to make nationals. From September, we showed real commitment and a strong desire to improve. Although we did not achieve all our goals, we made huge progress as individuals and a team which we can take into next season.
One of the most special aspects of netball at Sevenoaks is the sense of community. From the 1st VII to the U12s, there is a strong network of encouragement both on and off the court. Our coaches consistently go above and beyond to support us, and I have been especially grateful to the Sports department for helping me balance netball on the London Pulse Player Pathway Programme with school sport.
We are also excited for the upcoming tour to Barbados, which will include players from the 1st, 2nd and U16 teams. It will be a brilliant opportunity to build even stronger connections as a team heading into the new season. School netball has been such a meaningful part of my time at Sevenoaks, as it has been for many others. We are now looking forward to next season and are determined to make it our best yet!
