U15 BOYS
For the U15 boys , fixtures kicked off in Michaelmas , with a hard-fought win over Dulwich College in a cup match . Several weeks later , our first defeat of the season was served to us by The Coopers ’ Company and Coborn School , in a tough 4-8 loss , knocking us out of the cup . Despite this , team morale remained high , as it was an enjoyable experience nonetheless . Fixtures resumed once more in late April , where we started the Summer term on a high , with a resounding victory over St John ’ s . The boys continued their form throughout the season , showing great resilience and determination , while continuing to win matches .
Some highlights from the past year include strong individual performances from Adam Wilkes , who displayed great passion and perseverance while partaking in matches against several schools in our Independent School League ( ISL ) fixtures . Regarding the ISL , we managed to qualify for the finals , which were held at Eton . We got on well , despite low availability of players . Unfortunately , we suffered an early loss to a strong Hampton team , the eventual winners . After a tough first match , we remained diligent and pushed forward in our next matches . The format necessitated close communication and working together with the other pair in order to secure the win . Along the way , we had some close matches , but luckily , we managed to win the consolation . Overall , we had a great season , and the ISL finals were a great way to end it .
