LOWER SCHOOL HOCKEY
My experience of hockey this year has been fantastic . I have participated in so many matches and had excellent coaching throughout . As a goalkeeper , the psychological side of the game can be difficult . However , I found that the support that I received from the coaches really helped me to become better at handling it . I have also been very fortunate to have some goalkeeper coaching from Mr Barber which really helped me to work on specific skills . Being really supported by my coaches and teammates meant that I had the confidence to help win the match !

My hockey highlight of the year was seeing the team visibly progress throughout the season . It was amazing to see how much we improved and how after every training session we played better and can now beat some very strong teams . It was also great to see that we work together well and kept trying even if the score was not in our favour . Overall , this was an amazing season for hockey and there were many great results that we could be very proud of .
