with a first Kent Cup final performance for our 1st XI in 2023 , Jack has developed a connection with every team and individual he ’ s worked with . Beyond his professional contributions , he has become a friend to many . His empathetic nature and genuine interest in the wellbeing of others have created a safe space for open conversations , shared laughter and cherished memories .
Jack ’ s departure leaves a void that will be difficult to fill , but we take solace in knowing that he embarks on an exciting new journey .

TRACY HARDCASTLE
I have had the pleasure of working with Tracy for the last 15 years and more closely within my role as Director of PE and Sport , for ten . Tracy has worked tirelessly in sometimes difficult circumstances , within the notoriously tough leisure industry . She has always maintained a positive attitude and tried her very best to ensure the Sennocke Centre business has run smoothly and successfully , while also working in conjunction with the academic and co-curricular life of the school . Unfailingly helpful and accommodating whenever the department needed her help , she is acutely aware of the significance of sport and its influence on the school ’ s reputation . A calm and steadying figure , Tracy is also very effective in a crisis . To take on her role , upon the completion of the Sennocke Centre , with a completely blank canvas , should not be underestimated and she should be proud of the legacy she leaves behind . We wish Tracy all the best in her future endeavours and hope she gets to experience some downtime with her husband Paul , while spending more time running or on her beloved bike .

HELEN WALKER
Helen Walker began teaching singing at Sevenoaks in 2003 , having worked professionally as an opera singer for many years . After studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama , she joined the Glyndebourne opera house , and as a young soprano was awarded many prizes , such as the Christie Award and the Glyndebourne Touring Opera Award . Helen performed many major roles at both Glyndebourne and Covent Garden .
As a teacher , Helen invariably draws the best out of her pupils by creating a nurturing and positive environment ; her knowledge and professional experience has been invaluable in preparing pupils for performances and exams . We shall greatly miss her sense of humour and friendly nature – she has generated huge respect and warmth from both colleagues and pupils . Helen is looking forward to spending more time with her grandson and in her garden , but is also looking for new adventures across the northern border !
