FOOTBALL
League victory for the 1st XI , 2nd XI , U15A and U15B teams – and ISFA runners-up for the senior girls
Another year has come and gone and the football season has absolutely whizzed by ; perhaps this is something to do with the saying ‘ time flies when you ’ re having fun ’. There certainly was a lot of fun along the way . After our recent disrupted seasons , it was so good to have a normal-seeming year on the football pitch .
BOYS
The Michaelmas term got off to a flying start with football being played by boys in all years . Once again , every boy in the Lower School represented the school in a competitive fixture , which was really pleasing to see . There was exceptional talent among the senior boys and as we progressed into the Lent term we saw the strongest 1st XI team in many years , captained admirably by Conor Driscoll . He led the team brilliantly and let his performances on the pitch do the talking . Conor was supported by fellow Upper Sixth Thomas Broome , Vikas Kokkiligadda , Ethan Phillipson and Leo Gerza , who acted as significant role models for the younger footballers . Highlights included impressive wins against Worth , Christ ’ s Hospital and Haileybury .
