the inter-counties before being selected for the English Schools in March . What an amazing season for Ben and he still has another year left in the junior age group !
The Junior and Senior Knole Runs took place back-toback in early January . The juniors were treated to some beautiful winter sun on the Friday afternoon while the seniors were met with grey skies and rain on the Saturday morning . The junior girls once again showed they were a team to be reckoned with , claiming an emphatic win . Three runners jostled to come out on top within the team , this time with Victoria coming in first place , Charlotte in second and Sophie in fourth . Daniel Hadden and Max Malkinson continued their rise to prominence in the senior boys ’ team , coming in as the first Sevenoaks vests in 23rd and 35th .

As the final few races played out in March , it was encouraging to still be seeing new names come to the fore , as those who had trained steadily throughout the winter months saw their efforts rewarded . Salma Zidan , Piper Houston and Laura Jobke had some impressive top ten finishes in the postponed Thomas Trophy and Danes Hill races , and the inter and senior boys concluded their season with gold medal wins in the Wellington Relays and the South East Schools .
