Boys Football
Michaelmas term football was introduced for Sixth
Form boys for the first time and we once again saw
huge participation numbers across all age groups. In
the Lower School every boy represented the school
in a fixture against another school, which in itself is a
great achievement. In the Middle School we managed
to field 12 teams across the three age groups with
the U16Bs, U15Bs, U14As and U14Bs all winning their
respective leagues.
The 1st XI had a fantastic season, bouncing back
from a very tough start with some difficult knock-out
competition fixtures. The contribution of the Upper
Sixth boys undoubtedly ensured we had such a strong
season and huge thanks go to Daniel Healy, Daniel
Agmoni and our captain Anton Macfadyen for being
such positive role models to the younger members.

SPORT REVIEW
The Lent term got off to a flying start when we
faced Worth in the first block fixture of the season.
Standout performances from the U16As, U14Bs and
the U14Cs got us off on the front foot and we never
looked back from then on, despite losing a weekend of
fixtures during the snow. Some memorable matches
included playing against Brighton College on their
3G pitch, with the 1st XI coming away with an
outstanding 3-2 win and the 2nd XI with a brilliant
2-2 draw. We also had number of midweek fixtures
against a variety of opposition schools, all of which
were hugely enjoyable and very competitive.
As always, my thanks go to all the staff who put in
a huge amount of time and most importantly to
the students, who commit their time and effort to
training and representing the school so well.
