It ’ s hard to find a more hot-button issue than vaccinations nowadays , but that doesn ’ t stop them from being available to help kids to learn in a safe environment .
To clear up their purpose and even dissuade some myths , Laura Woodrum from the Lake Cumberland District Health Department sat down with SEKY magazine to get the inside-scoop on back-to-school immunizations .
Woodrum is the Director of Nurses at the Lake Cumberland District Health Department , which spans a 10-county district and does their best to keep all the counties staying fit and healthy .
