Performance Management Plan
A systematic approach designed to recognize and reward employees for their contributions to the organization in a fair and equitable manner . It involves three main phases : planning , monitoring , and evaluation , conducted on an annual cycle to ensure alignment with organizational goals and individual performance objectives .

Monitoring and facilitating students ’ academic advancement by tracking course completion , ensuring adherence to academic requirements , and providing necessary support for timely progression toward degree completion .

Keeping enrolled students engaged and supported throughout their academic journey , utilizing advising , student support services , and tailored programs to enhance persistence and success .
Return on Investment ( ROI )
In the context of higher education , ROI refers to the value that students gain from their educational experience at ODU compared to the investment of time , effort , and financial resources they invest . Benefits include access to social capital , higher earning potential , and an enhanced quality of life resulting from engagement with the university throughout the student lifecycle .
