DESCRIPTION OF THE LEARNING MATERIALS
Gives insight in how human activities have an impact on the planet . Thanks to looking up the ecological footprints of countries and biocapacity , students gain an understanding of this . By also calculating their own footprint , they can think about what needs to be done to move toward a sustainable society .
HOW TO USE ?
Use a powerpoint to instruct the students about the basics of the ecological footprint and biocapacity . Give the students some time to make the tasks and make sure you have a moment of reflection to discuss there findings .
