5‐ What happened to the drummer Jeff Mhaghnuis ? And tell us about TO M A S Z PILASIEWICZ ?
Shawna : We parted ways with drummer Jeff Mhaghnuis shortly a er the release of the first album . One of the members in the band lost their Father due to cancer , so the band had taken a break for awhile . When the band got back together and wrote the 2nd album we decided to approach drummer Tomasz Pilasiewicz in the fall of 2013 , he really liked the demo and decided to work with us .
6‐ Are we going to talk about the new CD " IN THE FIELDS THEY BLED "? , How was the recording and mixing of this new work ?, What are the expecta ons of this new job ? And are you happy with the contract ?
Shawna : We are very excited about the new album " In The Fields They Bled ". Tomasz Pilasiewicz enters the studio in July to track drums , the rest of the band will lay their tracks and mix the album in August 2014 at DHR recording studio , then it will be sent to Dan Swano for Mastering . The album is expected to be released in October 2014 on Horror Pain Gore Death Produc ons and Dark Horizon Records . The band is very pleased to be working with both labels for this album . Holocaustum want to focus on booking & playing many shows in support of the new album , then re‐enter the studio in Summer 2015 for the third album tled " Autopsy in Progress ".
7 ‐ Have signed with two record labels ( DARK HORIZON RECORDS ) & ( HORROR PAIN GORE DEATH PRODUCTIONS ), DARK HORIZON has released the first album , what do you expect from this ?
Shawna : There is a lot of compe on out there with labels , bands and promoters . Our goal is to work with mul ple record labels and promoters that are willing to work together with the band to promote , book shows , target sales & trades to other labels & metal heads all over the world .
8 ‐ What bands do you think have influenced the sound of guitars and generally HOLOCAUSTUM ?
Shawna : Some of our main influences include bands such as Immola on , Emperor , Morbid Angel , Autopsy , Primordial , Enslaved and Death .
9 ‐ Tell us the most important aspects of this new album " IN THE FIELDS THEY BLED "?
Shawna : That would be expanding the dynamics in songwri ng and bringing drummer Tomasz Pilasiewicz into Holocaustum .
10 ‐ What are you talking about the issues of " IN THE FIELDS THEY BLED "?
Shawna : The new album " In The Fields They Bled " is about different aspects of the pain and suffering that many have faced due to the violent acts of war .

Shawna : I be er not men on the crazy experiences we have had ...
12‐ Some project to edit video of the band ?
Shawna : We plan to work on shoo ng video footage for HOLOCAUSTUM some me in the near future .
13 ‐ What does the cover of " THE FIELDS IN THE BLED ," What is the policy of the CD issue ? And Why that tle ?
Shawna : Since this album is based on different view points of war , we picked the song " In The Fields They Bled " to be the tle for the album . When we were trying to figure out how we wanted the Artwork to be for the new album , that song had the most inspira on for art ideas to give to Ar st : Plamen Kolev . Again , we wanted a fire theme to go along with what the band name means , so having a war theme with the flamethrowers was a nice touch .
14 ‐ What are the bands that have influenced most to Holocaustum ? And What inspires you ?
Shawna : There are many bands that have influenced Holocaustum , bands such as Immola on , Emperor , Morbid Angel , Autopsy , Primordial , Enslaved and Death . We are inspired by many things such as the pain and suffering of life , war and death .
15 ‐ How has the band progressed ?
Shawna : Holocaustum has progressed by b r i n g i n g n e w d r u m m e r To m a s z Pilasiewicz into the band as well as expanding the dynamics of our song wri ng , recording , promo ng and work ethic . It has also helped to work with both Dark Horizon Records & Horror Pain Gore Death Produc ons .
16 ‐What are the band plans to support the new album ?
Shawna : Holocaustum plan to promote and play many shows this and next year in support of the new album " In The Fields They Bled ".
