Covid is still at the forefront of everyone ’ s mind , so a bit more planning went into this evening . We broke members and guests into small , selfcontained , Covid-compliant groups . The exceptional site facilities meant that we could use five different entry points keeping groups socially distanced as possible .
A well-organised surface support team would brief and administer the groups , keeping Emergency Contact Details and a Covid declaration , along with dive logs . Chris Shelley , the branch Training Officer and evening Dive Manager was kept constantly informed and updated .
Members were flexible and friendly , with some on closed circuit rebreathers and some trying out new kit ; others were guiding and a few were teaching , or being taught . The aim was to have a fantastic , friendly evening – and
