Plymouth Sound ’ s divers are very fortunate in that our regular weekly meetings happen at a fantastic bar , with a wonderful view . It is aptly called the Waterfront and , as its name implies , allows divers to fall in and out of the sea and go for some food and drink afterwards . It also allows us to have Monday evening shore dives before our meeting .

That was the case before Covid struck and indoor meetings were cancelled . However , with the easing of lockdown diving has rerecommenced , even if the Waterfront is still closed Monday through to Thursday .
April 26 this year was a slightly different evening . With great weather , good viz and a ‘ couldn ’ t be planned better ’ tide , we had all the ingredients for a spectacular evening . We had 26 divers including current members and , more importantly , potential members , going in for a wonderful dip , in what can only be described as stunning conditions .
