“Mici”

is the favourite barbeque

meat in Romania. It is minced meat (usually pork, or pork mixed with beef or lamb) with a lot of spices, which is then rolled and put on the grill. They are eaten with mustard and they go along perfectly with a cold beer.

“Ciorba de burta”

(tripe-soup) is a soup made with small pieces of the cow’s stomach. It also contains a lot of garlic and sour-cream and it is usually eaten along with a hot pepper.
