“Zacusca”

is kind of a salad made

with a lot of boiled vegetables such as egg-plants, beans and mushrooms. They are all minced and mixed with boiled tomatoes and peppers and it is usually preserved in jars until winter. It is then eaten on

top of bread.

“Telemea”

is the traditional Romanian cheese. It can be made of cow milk or sheep milk. Although it may look a bit similar to “feta cheese”, the taste is very different.
