Next to it, there is another small castle, the Pelișor castle, which was built as a residence for the Crown Prince and Princess of that time. This one is a bit more modern and also a bit smaller.
They are both located in Sinaia, a beautiful mountain resort, which still keeps a royal spirit because of the multitude of old buildings built during the interwar period and before.
