Titanoboa: Monster Snake
In my opinion I think this documentary is great and very intresting. The documentary starts off with the discovery of a snake's gigantic vertebrae in the coal mines of Cerrajon, Columbia. The vertebrae that was discovered was the largest vertebae in history. The vertebrae was atleast 15x larger than the vertebrae of a Burmese python and Anacondas. The analysis of the large vertebrae reveals that the snake was 48 feet long, a constrictor snake and related to a snake species known as Boa thus giving the snake its name Titanoba. Titanboa is the longest and heaviest snake known to man.
When they discovered that Titanoboa was a constrictor the scientists took a look at some of the constrictor snaks and they got their hands dirty by hunting some Anaconda in the watery grass loands of Venezuela. While looking for a good size anaconda, one decides to reveal itself and sinks its teeth into one of the scientists, they eventually got control of the snake. It showed how aggressive the constrictors are and just how powerful they can be.
In conclusion I highly recommend this documentary to any snake lover. This documentary also showed off some other gigantic animal fossild and of the fossils actually rivaled againist Titanoboa. Over all I really enjoyed this documentary because its showed me a lost of time and an awesome monster that is the great Titanoboa. By: Kevin Alvarado
Beyond Smart- People Who Outsmart Computers
This documentary, “Beyond Smart- People who outsmart computers”, gives the certain light of anything can happen. These people think in different ways than normal and can do mass calculations and make these figures and connections we normal people can’t. These people all say mostly the same things; they just pop and make this picture in their head. This guy in the picture is very rare to science because most people that have these great talents usually don’t have good social skill or can barely even talk to explain how it works much like Stephen Hawking’s, well that guy in the picture can explain it and is one of the very few that can. It is extremely fascinating because you think how the mind works and the strange things that can happen. If you’re that kind of person who wonders about the mind and how we work this is a great video for you. Me, personally I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars because it is, extremely fascinating, but the narrators tone and voice drones on and may put you to sleep. By: Joanna Roque
