After moving from Nepal to study in the United States, Rojesh found his niche at Stevenson.“ Recently I was doing ecology research and spent most of my time in a kayak collecting samples and fishing. Now I’ m working in a lab investigating the role of ubiquitination gene in C. elegans and mouse embryonic cells. In the past, I’ ve volunteered at health clinics in America and Nepal, and I was a part of Stevenson’ s Summer Science Scholars Research program.
“ I am very grateful for the support of the faculty here at Stevenson— they have provided me with encouragement along the way and helped me to become a better professional.” After graduation, Rojesh is applying to medical school and hopes to volunteer with Medicines Sans Frontiers( Doctors Without Borders) one day.
