Doctoral Colloquium & Early Career Network Concentric 2022
The 15th Doctoral Colloquium and Early Career Network ( ECN ) Concentric was successfully held from 27-29 October 2022 by the School of Business . The Doctoral Colloquium provided a platform for PhD students to present , discuss and share their work before an elite audience of peers , supervisors and researchers from the Monash community .
In addition , it provides an opportunity for the PhD students to interact intellectually and establish informal rapport with distinguished researchers and peers in an encouraging atmosphere . This year , the school had the pleasure to invite Prof Herman Tse , Director of the Early Career Academics Network from Australia to join as part of the review panel for the PhD students ’ presentation as well as ECN session entitled “ How to publish papers at top tier journals ” and “ Research impact or industry engagement ” at the Doctoral Colloquium and ECN Concentric event . Four PhD students from different stages were awarded best paper awards from this Doctoral Colloquium session .
