In mid-November 2022 , Prof Teh Pei Lee visited three universities in Taiwan , namely Chang Gung University , Tunghai University and National Chung Cheng University for her gerontechnology research and engagement relating to improving the health and well-being of older adults . Prof Teh was invited as a keynote speaker to present at the 3rd International Conference on Medical Design organised by the Medical Design Association in Taiwan . She was invited to give a research seminar by the Department of Information Management at Taiwan National Chung Cheng University on 17 November 2022 . She also visited the Center for Innovative Research on Aging Society ( CIRAS ) and their farm , populated with vegetables grown by older people as part of the University ’ s senior outreach engagement . She attended the networking dinner with the Vice President of Tunghai University , Prof Dr Jo-Shu Chang and other academics on 19 November 2022 . On 21 November 2022 , Prof Teh met the President of Chang Gung University , Prof Dr Ming-Je Tang and his senior management team to explore possible collaboration between Chang Gung University and Monash University Malaysia .

Rural Women Empowerment through Entrepreneurship
A / Prof Grace Lee Hooi Yean from the School of Business was invited by her research collaborator from Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology ( ITS ) Surabaya , Indonesia for a training entitled “ Mastering Your Entrepreneurial Skills Using Digital Entrepreneurship Toolkit for Women Entrepreneurs ’’ as part of their joint research under the MUM ASEAN Grant . The aim of the training was to introduce a growth mindset and entrepreneurial self-efficacy intervention in the digital marketing training curriculum that meets the needs and challenges of the rural women .
The Graduate Research Program Director , Dr Sharon Koh Geok May and the Research Manager , Kiew Suet Yin from the School of Business , visited the Faculty of Business and Economics , Graduate Research team in Australia from 14-17 November , 2022 . The working visit aims to enhance the relationship between key stakeholders from both campuses . The key stakeholders include :

Discussions included planning on the upcoming PhD Course Review in 2023 , mutual understanding of research support , database subscription , and research ethics matters . It was a very successful trip where the team also discussed and clarified issues related to the graduate research programs .
