Careers Information
Reported by: Miss Halsall
Each term in the careers department there a set of objectives, goals and challenges to be met. This
term has been very focused on Year 11 and their future pathways.
Although we are opening our own sixth form we have a duty to provide impartial careers advice for all
of our students and support them in finding the most suitable route for them as an individual. Year 11
has been visiting a variety of Colleges and Sixth Forms and some have also taken part in taster
sessions. They have all undergone mock interviews which are quite comprehensive and have helped
them to prepare well for their forthcoming formal interviews.
I wish them well in their mocks after Christmas and hope that all of the hard work pays off!
GCSE Presentation Evening 2014
Reported by: Miss Halsall
We had a lovely time welcoming back
our class of 2014 for their GCSE
presentation evening.
It is always a pleasure to see past
students thriving in their new
environments and this year was
no exception. Everyone is
following the individual path
most appropriate for them and
seem to be very happy and
settled.
Each student was presented with
their GCSE certificates and
received a personal accolade from
Mr Shaw.
We hope they will always remember
they are part of the Scarisbrick Hall
family and look forward to
welcoming them back soon through
our Alumni events.
