But passion and good local facilities does not pay the bills . Even though there are many good teams in the BSB championship - as one high profile example - they do not come to WorldSBK in the same numbers that Italian teams do .
How do you pay for that jump up from nationals to WorldSBK ? “ If everyone in a country have a passion for this sport , then the same is for companies and businesses ,” said Denis . “ If I am a company I want to be part of this world . I want to follow my passion , I want to support someone , to come to the races , to see the life of the paddock . So , If I am the owner of the company I can invest in this sport and like this sport . Sponsors can come here , take a box , sit in the hospitality … the sponsor must feel part of the team . At this moment , and in the last years , it is more difficult to find sponsors compared to maybe ten years ago . But I think this is the same in all the world .”
Networking with people who are already interested in your world naturally brings more opportunities for economic support especially if they already feel like part of the team . “ In Misano we will bring more than 200 people ,” said Denis , as an example . “ Just guests , plus the team . It is a lot but it is really important for us to do this service . It is important for us - really important for us . We invest a lot of time , money and work to bring 200 people . For us it is much more important , much more productive , than doing ten days of preseason testing .”

Ma la passione e le buone strutture non pagano i conti . Anche se ci sono molte buone squadre nel campionato BSB – per citare un esempio di alto profilo – le squadre inglesi non passano al WorldSBK nella stessa quantità di quelle italiane .
Come riuscite a fare il salto dai campionati nazionali al WorldSBK ? “ Se in una nazione tutti nutrono una passione per questo sport , questo vale anche per le aziende e le imprese “, ha affermato Denis . “ Se sono a capo di un ‘ azienda voglio far parte di questo mondo . Voglio seguire la mia passione , voglio sostenere qualcuno , venire alle gare , vivere la vita del paddock . Quindi se sono il proprietario di un ‘ azienda e mi piace questo sport posso investire su di esso . Gli sponsor possono venire nel paddock , entrare nel box , sedersi nelle hospitality ... lo sponsor deve sentirsi parte della squadra .
