ALUMNI NOTES
Edward (Eamon) G. McAnaney ’83 completed his first
New York City Marathon. He finished in 4:40:39, but more
importantly was able to raise more than $15,000 for Harlem
Lacrosse. He writes, “It was an unreal experience that lived
up to the hype.”
Carlos T. Angulo ’78 was up from Washington, D.C.
for this year’s installment of the Alumni Odds vs. Evens
Soccer Game. He brought his Eighth Grade daughter
along with a promise of a trip to the theater district if
she didn’t steal his thunder on the field! Peppy enjoyed
catching up with his classmates James Hughes ’78 and
James O’Shea ’78 at the game. In photo, from left: Carlos
Angulo ’78, James Hughes ’78, James O’Shea ’78, and
Martin Vulliez ’86.
Gregory J. Aston ’83 finished his first New York City
Marathon race in 5:07 hours running time, crossing the finish
line at about 5:00 p.m. He had leg cramps on the 59th Street
Bridge with no official in site, but figured out how to fix these
cramps and kept going. Congrats to Gregory for not giving
up on the bridge and being able to finish.
Matthew V. Grieco ’83 got engaged to Sarah Depew this fall.
George Fernaine ’88 graduated from Yale University in May
2017, having earned an MBA. He writes, “You can never be
too old to go back to school.”
Andrea Frua-de-Angeli ’89 writes, “I have recently entered
as partner in a cutting-edge fund management company called
Officina 360º. The company is based on the idea of weaving
Property Management and Hospitality Services, offering a
360º service for Property Owners and Travelers.
James E. Menapace ’91 worked
out on the basketball court
in preparation for the annual
