guess who is who? Christopher was born in New York City,
attended Saint David’s School and received a Bachelor of Fine
Arts from Marietta College and a Doctorate in Psychology
from Saybrook Institute in San Francisco. After co-founding
the San Francisco Interior Design firm Martha Angus Inc.,
he relocated back to Carnegie Hill. Over the years, he has
been very successful in raising funds for such organizations
as DIFFA, Christadora Fund, the Trust for Public Spaces,
and the Orchid Foundation.
Thomas J. McHenry ’69 is the President and Dean of
Vermont Law School and was featured in the most recent
electronic newsletter, Nunc in Futurum. See the Q/A on
page 81.
Charles F. Huschle ’76 writes, “I recently published a collection
of short stories called Mother Firetrucker Riffs on Love,
available on Amazon. After Saint David’s, I went to Collegiate.
Then a BA in English from Wesleyan University, an MFA
in Fiction Writing from UMASS/Amherst, and currently an
MA in Religious Studies from Naropa University. I’ve been
a teacher, fundraiser,
and hospital chaplain,
besides writing these
stories and working on
other pieces, such as
poetry and nonfiction.”
Christopher Flach ’71 has been associated with the Gerald
Bland Gallery as a painter and sculptor for six years.
Established in 1987, Gerald Bland offers a unique collection
of fine art, including Christopher’s own work. Recently
the Gerald Bland Gallery relocated from Carnegie Hill to a
gorgeous gallery space in the Fine Arts Building located at 232
East 59th Street, Sixth Floor where you can find his works
including his Saint David’s class portrait on linen! Can you
