Peter S. Frantz’ 94 writes,“ I was in the city over the summer and walked by the school to see all the construction. I’ m sure it will be amazing once it is all finished. My son has taken to wearing a Saint David’ s hat that I had lying around. He’ d be old enough now to be in nursery there. Both he and my eldest daughter attend a lovely little parochial school near us. It was very important to me that they attend a Catholic school after my experience at Saint David’ s. I’ m on the school board, and often pass along the mailings and other things I receive for us to have as aspirational items that we can hopefully someday have enough funds to pay for( I have a feeling our budgets are slightly different!). Which is all to say that not only did Saint David’ s put me down a path to becoming a( hopefully) good Catholic man, but is also helping another generation of Catholics with their education.”

Travers A. McEntyre’ 05 writes,“ I rode in the JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes, a charity cycling event that makes a big impact on the lives of people with Type 1 diabetes( T1D). I rode on behalf of my eight-year-old cousin, Max, who has been living with T1D for most of his young life. It has been a challenge for him and the family since then, and while every challenge has been met, I want to work towards a day where no one has to live with the challenges presented by T1D. Fortunately, JDRF has created an amazing community for people affected by T1D. Seeing and experiencing this community firsthand gives me plenty of hope for a future where there is prevention and a cure for T1D.”
