Saffron Walden’s Home Visit Vet Practice
A stress-free
solution for pets
and owners
PawSquad, is an end-to-end veterinary
service, enabling pet owners to book
a dedicated local vet to visit their
home - making pet healthcare more
convenient, accessible and stress-free
for both pets and their owners.
Dr Julia Smith DVM MSc MRCVS is the
local vet for Saffron Walden. She said:
“Home visits allow me to spend that
vital extra time with you and your pet,
so I can provide quality veterinary care
without causing the inevitable stress
to your pet that we see in practice.
Our consultation times are 30-40
minutes which gives us enough time
to talk through preventative care and
for you to ask any questions. Plus any
medications are delivered straight to
your door, making home visits much
more convenient for both pet and
owner.”
Julia can provide all kinds of
routine care including health
checks, vaccinations, medications,
microchipping and minor procedures in
the home, providing owners with both
fl exibility and peace of mind. Partner
clinics are also in place to support any
pets that need further treatment that
cannot be administered at home, and
video calls and messaging allow vets
to best manage their patients and
time.
Pet owners in Saffron Walden are
already recommending PawSquad
to their friends. Local resident Nikki
says: “It was wonderful to have Julia
visit my cat at home. A visit in a cat
basket and the car to the vet in Saffron
Walden is very stressful for her. Julia
was calm and befriended my cat
making the whole experience more
calming for her.”
Julia is also helping dogs too. Local
dog owner Amanda says: “I have never
had such a good experience from a
vet. Julia is unbelievably helpful, so
very kind to my dog, and emails, texts
and phones to keep in touch and see
how he is doing. I will always use her
from now on.”
Julia covers Saffron Walden, Haverhill,
Royston, Bishop Stortford, Littlebury,
Newport, Sawston, The Chesterford’s,
Wimbish, Harston, Heydon, and
villages in between!
You can book with Julia by calling
01799 252275 or by booking online at
www.pawsquad.com.
Evening and weekend appointments
are also available, with home
consultations costing just £48 for a 30-
40 minute appointment (medications,
vaccinations and other procedures
incur additional costs).
