Through ESC meetings , coordinate with university and high school representatives to further develop young education transportation and safety programs Provide training for bicyclists of all ages .

Team 1 :
• How will this be held accountable ( Strategy 1 : Develop checklists , tools and procedures so that safety is considered across departments and project types .)
• Put speed bumps near back in parking if just for selected timeframe .
• Don ’ t just develop . Prioritize safe routes to school plans and host demonstration at all schools .
• Provide free Via days for residents to utilize public transport more around the City .
• Protect bikes and walkability by creating barriers ( with nature ) that protect us from the cars . We don ’ t want to share the road .
• Ensure that there are sessions targeting the participation of disadvantaged communities ( ex . Session in other languages for students ).
• More students could do research about Arlington transportation systems .
• Hold meetings or have members of the ESC that primary language is Vietnamese and Spanish .
• The City should provide bicyclist lights or breaks / helmets to ensure they are well equipped .
• Improve condition services . ( referring to Pursue funding opportunities focused on innovative safety technologies for vulnerable road users .)
• Address human benefits of walkability and riding bikes as opposed to just driving .
• Reduce number of lanes near schools .
• Let ’ s name the fact that cars and roads are often the priority . Let ’ s shift towards prioritizing walkability to ensure less cars are on Arlington roads .
• Shouldn ’ t public transportation be incorporated into this plan ? It seems like safety and traVic issues would be better reduced this way .
