The games between New
Zealand and France and
Australia and England at the
2007 edition are thus far my
Rugby World Cup highlights.
Victory for France and
England almost guaranteed
the springboks the crown
as we know that Australia
and New Zealand are two of
the toughest opponents in
the world of rugby and the
Springboks always struggle
with them.

My most memorable rugby
World Cup moment was in
2011 between the Springboks
and Australia. The game was
heading towards the end
and Morne Steyn scored a
sublime drop goal to give the
Boks a cushion.
I almost shed a tear when
the Boks eventually lost. We
should have won that game
but hopefully lady luck will be
with us this time around. My
blood is green. In Bokke we
trust.

I am not the biggest rugby
fan but I truly enjoy the “prematch rituals”. I am always
amused and entertained
when the New Zealand team
(The All Blacks) does the
Haka, it’s so awesome! There
was one match in the 2011
world cup when NZ played
against Tonga and the Tonga
players did the Sipi Tau…
It was the Hakas, the Sipi
Tausw, it was beautiful.
