Throughout the years we had the luxury of witnessing some of the greatest and iconic moments at the previous world Cups. These moments brought the entire world into a standstill and will forever remain etched in our minds. Narrowing down the most iconic moments is no easy task. Each moment is special in its own way, some were life-changing while others redefined history. Here are five of the greatest moments in the history of the Rugby World Cup. 5 1. Jonny Wilkinson’s late drop goal- RWC 2003 (England Vs Australia) With only 20 seconds left on the clock, Jonny Wilkinson won the game with his last gasp kick to win the World Cup for England. 2. Wallabies annihilation of Namibia- RWC 2003 (Australia Vs Namibia) Australia recorded the biggest victory at a World Cup when they annihilated Namibia a whopping 142-0.
