Biggleswade from under eight up to an under 19 colts XV. The youngsters are very much part of the club and there is an interchange between the young people and the senior players. At home league matches a youth side will support the 1st XV by being ball boys, water carriers and forming a guard of honour to the teams. Senior players shake off the hangover on a Sunday morning by turning out to assist in the training of the youngsters, boys and girls. When they get to senior level there is a Development XV to bring on the talent and be part of the First Team Squad. But players at all levels are encouraged to train and improve their skills so that they get more out of the game. Biggleswade run three senior sides with an occasional Vets XV. The Club has previously run a Ladies team and hopes to be more active again in this area soon. The Ladies are training and hope to play competitive matches soon. The Club has six well drained pitches but the changing facilities are showing their age and will need replacing when funds are available. There are four squash courts in the clubhouse building which are not as heavily used as in previous years. It has long been an aim of the club to try and convert one to a social area which will overlook the 1st XV pitch. Biggleswade is a thriving club with a proud history of being a part of the local community. The Club feels that aspiring to be a Midlands 1 side again in the next five years is realistic and everyone is working very hard to achieve that ambition.
