They have certainly come a long way since being founded with their first team now competing in the Southern Counties South West Division. Their first team has made a steady start to their league campaign so far this time around, winning one, drawing one and losing two of their first four matches. This has left them sitting in a mid-table position with seven points on the board. This should provide them with a solid platform from which to build as they look ahead to the rest of the campaign. So long as they are able to retain their current 40 Issue 65 group of players and perhaps make one or two quality additions they should be in with a good chance of pushing on up the league. One of the highlights of the team’s has been the attacking brand of rugby that they have been able to produce. This has been reflected by the fact that they have already racked up 82 points at a rate of more than twenty per game, making them the top scorers in the bottom half of the league. This will certainly have meant that any supporters attending their matches will have been well entertained and should encourage more of the local community to get behind the side in future. This in turn has the potential to provide them with a valuable source of additional revenue.
