Martin Luther King, Jr- RSVP Service Project Each year the Dubuque National Service Partnership participates in the Martin Luther King, Jr- Day of Service project by making no sew fleece blankets for the homeless of Dubuque County.
This year was no exception. We doubled the amount of blankets this year. Thank you to all the volunteers who contributed to this project. RSVP is looking forward to growing the project for 2017- 2018.
No Sew Fleece Blankets are a great project to work on as a family. Katherine Carothers sent her blanket in with a note that read,“ During the Christmas holiday my son helped me make this blanket. It gave us, as adults, a common goal of something special to do together. Thank you.”
Consider working on this project as a family. RSVP will receive the blankets throughout the year.
