Martin Luther King , Jr - RSVP Service Project Each year the Dubuque National Service Partnership participates in the Martin Luther King , Jr - Day of Service project by making no sew fleece blankets for the homeless of Dubuque County .
This year was no exception . We doubled the amount of blankets this year . Thank you to all the volunteers who contributed to this project . RSVP is looking forward to growing the project for 2017 - 2018 .
No Sew Fleece Blankets are a great project to work on as a family . Katherine Carothers sent her blanket in with a note that read , “ During the Christmas holiday my son helped me make this blanket . It gave us , as adults , a common goal of something special to do together . Thank you .”
Consider working on this project as a family . RSVP will receive the blankets throughout the year .
