19 the proper cancellation notification, members may be charged for special events, especially if it is sold out. An automatic service charge of 18% will be added to all food and beverage sales. This is a house charge which is pooled and distributed to all service employees, in the form of higher wages and better benefits. Individual additional gratuities for your server(s) are optional, and should not be considered in traditional amounts of 15-20% but as a token of appreciation for excellent service. All food and beverage consumed on the Club facilities must be furnished by the Club unless specifically exempted by the Club Manager and a specific handling charge has been levied. All alcoholic beverages consumed or otherwise possessed on the Club facilities and Golf Course must be sold and purchased at the Club. The Club’s staff is directed to refuse service to any member or guest who appears to be intoxicated. 2. Attire Dress in the dining and lounge areas will be casual. Shirts for men must have sleeves and collar (unless mock golf shirts) and be worn at all times. Hats should be removed. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times at the Club facilities, except in the swimming pool area. Swimming, jogging, gym, athletic or other types of similar appearing attire are prohibited in the Club area. Blue denim jeans are now permitted. Members are expected to ensure that their guests and children adhere to such rules. Swimming attire is not permitted in any part of the Club other than the immediate pool area and locker rooms. Shoes and a robe or other appropriate cover shall be worn over bathing suits when entering the Club area. Appropriate golf attire for men includes slacks, golf shorts and shirts with collars and sleeves (unless mock golf shirts). Proper golf attire for women includes slacks, golf shorts, golf skirts and shirts. This also applies to the driving range. Clothing prohibited is as above. Proper tennis attire shall consist of tennis shoes (not basketball shoes) and tennis clothing (white, pastel or apparel manufactured expressly for tennis). In cold weather sweatshirts are permitted in colors or traditional white. No street trousers, Bermuda’s, jams, bathing suits, gym shorts, football jerseys or tank tops, etc. are allowed. All swimmers must wear proper swimming attire. Cut-offs, dungarees and Bermuda’s are not considered appropriate swimwear. In the Fitness Center proper work-out clothes and athletic shoes are required.
