3. Swimming Pool Rules
Swimming is permitted for members from 7 a.m. until dark. House guests may either
accompany members to the pool or if unaccompanied, purchase a swim pass at $5 per family
per visit from the Membership Director. Lifeguards are not on duty, so swimming is at the
swimmer’s own risk. Children under twelve years of age are permitted to use the pool facilities
only if supervised by an adult. Children wearing diapers are not permitted in the pool.
Showers are required prior to entering the pool to remove all suntan oils and lotions. All
persons using the pool furniture must cover the furniture with a towel when using suntan
lotions.
No food or drink is permitted in the pool or the area immediately surrounding the pool. Only
food and beverages purchased at the Club and in non-breakable containers are permitted in the
patio area.
4. Golf Rules
The Golf Shop is open from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily; it is closed on Mondays during the summer.
All players must have starting times reserved through the Golf Shop. Starting times may be
reserved in person, by phone, or via the web one week in advance by members, and three days
in advance by guests. All members and guests must register in the Golf Shop before beginning
play. Failure to check in and register 10 minutes prior to a reserved starting time may cause
cancellation or set back. Under no circumstances are players permitted to start play from
residences. Each player must have his or her own set of golf clubs. Children must be five years
of age to use golf facilities.
Jogging, recreational walking, rollerblading and biking are not permitted on the golf course.
Pets are not permitted on the golf course. If lightning is in the area, all play shall cease.
No beverage coolers are permitted on the course unless supplied by the Club. Each operator of
a golf cart must be at least 14 years of age. Except on cart paths do not drive a golf cart within
30 feet of a green, a tee or a bunker. The use of golf carts is mandatory by players until 3 p.m.
After that time, walkers are permitted for golf.
5. Tennis Rules
Five har-tru tennis courts are open seven days a week from 8:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. to Rosedale
tennis members at no cost. All tennis members and guests must register prior to play.
Reservations may not be scheduled more than three days in advance by members and two days
in advance by guests. Reservations must be scheduled by the individual who wishes to play and
not by one member on behalf of another. A minimum of two names must be given with any
reservation. While courts are available, reservations will be accepted for singles and doubles
play for 1½ hour periods. When calling to reserve a court, leave your name, telephone number,
day and time you want to play; the Tennis Shop will call you if there is a conflict. Rosedale
