Critic's Corner

Before I went to see Romeo and Juliet put on by LeMarshalle Theatre. I thought it would be terrible, but it was actually fantastic. Bradley Cooper's portrayal of Romeo was spot on. He and Jennifer Lawrence (who played Juliet) Worked great together to deliver a true teenage romance. Julianna Hough (the Nurse), George Clooney (Lord Montague), Jennifer Goodwin (Lady Montague), Leonardo DiCaprio (Lord Capulet), Kate Winslet (Lady Capulet), and Brad Pitt (Friar Lawrence) had just great chemistry on stage. They delivered a top-of-the-notch performance. However, the sound was a little off. The acoustics weren’t as good as they should have been, but the impeccable performances of the actors made up for that. The light was a little too dim. The Facility is very clean and the snacks at the snack bar are great. I would give this play my best review yet!
