ROCKPORT CHAMELEON
(sp. Anolis carolinensis)
It’s more commonly known as the Green
Anole. Whereas the Chameleon lizard
changes color to blend into its surroundings, the Green Anole changes color (to
brown) as a sign of stress. They are often
called the ‘American Chameleon’ and are
related to Iguanas. They are native to most
of the Southeastern U.S. and Cuba.
SIX-LINED RACERUNNER
(sp. Cnemidophorus sexlineatus)
The Six-Lined Racerunner lizard can attain
speeds up 20 miles per hour. They’re a hard
lizard to catch, as they are very aware of their
surroundings.
LORE: There are appearently several species
that are all female and are capable of reproducing without the help of a male - obviously
some sort of ‘Amazon Lizard’.
