Digital competences as mechanisms to respond to the challenges of today ' s society imply profound changes that go beyond the instrumental use of technology . The descriptive single case study methodology with a qualitative approach was applied . The results obtained show the need to integrate new resources and technology tools that support teacher management and enable the teaching-learning processes to be energized .
