Abstract
This essay is based on a theoretical reflection on The Educational
Philosophy of Jean Jacque Rousseau (1712-1778). It was carried out under a
bibliographic and documentary approach. In that sense, the work is based on
his work Emilio. The Rousonian educational philosophy is of great relevance to
the pedagogy since with it a real process of transformation of education begins.
It also becomes a historical, political and educational reference to be applied
to the field of educational sciences. The purpose of the text is to provide
teachers, students and other stakeholders with pedagogical elements to be
addressed and discussed in the field of education. In the same way, it is
necessary to specify the contribution of Rousseau in terms of the stages that
must be met to educate children and young people. However, the vision that
this one held of the role that women have to play in society, seems to be that
the author prevailed a marked discrimination against them. The subject of
women from the point of view of the Rousonian philosophy is still debated
frequently in different educational scenarios.
