Abstract
Environmental education is conceived as a process of change and
transformation of reality. It is also important to promote sustainable
development and increase capacity to acquire environmental awareness. This
research aims to build the profile for Brigadist environmental Education in
Institutions of Secondary Education Subsystem Bolivarian Barinitas Parish,
Bolivar County, Barinas State. This study answers the qualitative paradigm, in
the form of an interpretative phenomenological research; held data collection,
reference to the common elements belonging to the situation under review that
is the context formed by the six high schools Bolivarian Subsystem Secondary
Education of that context. In this sense, social actors were composed by two
students, two teachers and a specialist in the environmental area. The depth
interview was used as an instrument using an interview guide. As for the
technique of analyzing information box categories in order to make
comparisons and contrasts possible were developed. The aim with the
construction of the profile is integrally form the student aware of responsible
consumption and solidarity participation and contributing to maintaining or
restoring the balance of the environment.
