With respect to the above table, it is evident that in the city of Barrancabermeja were affected about 66% of the victims a total of research. Likewise, 80% of the massacres occurred in the oil port. In the municipality of Cantagallo, a massacre and two extrajudicial executions reported in 24% of the victims. I.e., between Cantagallo and Barrancabermeja concentrate nearly 90% of the total number of victims. Special cause attention, that one of the cases is under the jurisdiction of the municipality of Bucaramanga.
Individual extrajudicial executions (referenced as individual, since the massacres are also classified as extrajudicial executions, but a collective character) are for the period 2010-2016 systems primarily in the Sur de Bolivar. Forced disappearance is focused in the city of Barrancabermeja and a Bucaramanga case.
Taking advantage of the presence of illegal armed groups in the region permitted development, justification, and concealment of actions that violate Human Rights and breaches of International Humanitarian Law by agents of the State, is that to say, identification as "red zones" allowed the deployment of military action against the civilian population, by passing the military operations as positive balances in the counterinsurgency fight and at the same time, victims as valid targets of the confrontation.
