2.2 Development Process
To create the database , we mainly used the newspaper archive , the Official State Gazette ( BOE ) and the Journal of Sessions of the Spanish Congress of Deputies , as well as other auxiliary sources and a specialised bibliography . Every database entry contains information about the name of the initiative , the chronological period when it took place , the actors involved and the current status of satisfaction or dissatisfaction , if applicable . In addition , we provide a detailed description of each initiative and , finally , we include a section of sources providing references to news , legislations and other auxiliary sources to explore each case in greater detail .
The data were collected between January and June 2023 , based on preliminary work that included regular meetings between the team of four researchers , who shared a common database . These meetings were essential to address difficulties and discuss internal correction and consistency issues in the compiling of initiatives . The difficulties encountered and the reflections made during the development process are described in detail in the next section of results . In addition , in this section we also consider possible lines of work that future projects of this type should address .
