Many items arrive on consignment, carrying histories from the homes they once occupied. Ashley learns those stories from consignors and shares them with interested buyers. In her words, she loves being the“ conductor,” helping a meaningful piece find its next home.
ROOM TO GROW
The store has evolved, too. Two years after taking ownership, Ashley moved next door and expanded into a space four times larger. The growth made room for more furniture, preloved treasures, local artists and makers, as well as a Refill Room offering eco-friendly and refillable home and body products. It also created space for events, workshops and a studio where Ashley is returning to pottery after nearly 15 years away from clay.
Yet the heart of Redecor + Design remains the experience. The music, scent, thoughtful displays and familiar conversations keep locals returning. It is a reminder that creating a collected home is not about finding more things. It is about choosing pieces that feel right, carry meaning and make a home unmistakably yours.
