and on-ground works to improve :

livelihoods — profitable primary production to support vibrant regional economies ; and

• communities — strong , resilient and connected .

Our main office is in Townsville , with smaller offices located in Ayr and Bowen . Our skillsbased Board comprises nine Board members , including a Traditional Owner Director who is a proud Gugu Badhun and Ngadgjon-Jii man . We currently have approximately 50 staff , including one Aboriginal staff member . The NQ Dry Tropics Traditional Owner Management Group ( TOMG ), established in 2003 , features representatives from 14 of the region ’ s Traditional Owner groups , and provides cultural direction and advice for Traditional Owner aspirations in the region .
We deliver outcomes in partnership with a diverse group of stakeholders including , agricultural landholders , Traditional Owners , researchers , industry and landcare groups , and local , state and federal government . We are part of the wider Queensland and Australian NRM networks , which work to promote NRM and influence policy at the State and Federal levels .
