Empower landholders and communities in the Burdekin Dry Tropics to sustainably manage land , water , soil , plants and animals .
NQ Dry Tropics is an independent , not for profit company promoting sustainable management of land , water , soil , plants and animals in the dry tropics of North Queensland . Formed in 2002 , we work with hundreds of partners to deliver evidence-based projects focused on :
• practice change : working with land managers to improve ecological sustainability , resilience and
profitability of farming enterprises ;
• systems repair : rehabilitating critical landscapes , habitats and species ;
