Oh Father, as I am growing and maturing in the understanding of sonship, I am seeing more and more of Christ and coming to realize how powerful He really is. The more I see I am realizing that we, His body ARE His fullness and His representative on this earth. Understanding the meaning of sonship continues to reveal my identity and I am beginning to stand up in my authority that I have been given. Serving without understanding this can lead to only works. I have been placed in the greatest place imaginable: IN CHRIST! Jesus said in John 12:49 “He did not speak on His own, but Father who sent Him told Him WHAT to speak and HOW to say it.” So many times I’ve wanted to serve but felt condemned because I did not FEEL equipped, moved by fear, doubt and unbelief. I did not understand my position as Your child. I did not know what to say. I did not understand that IN CHRIST I am equipped to serve.

Jesus said if I saw Him, I have seen You, Father. He told the disciples in John 15:15 “You are my FRIENDS if you DO what I command. I NO LONGER CALL YOU SERVANTS because a servant does not know his master’s business.

Instead, I have called you FRIENDS, for everything I learned from My Father I have made known to you”. This is true intimacy between a Father and Son, grooming for service.

Abba, Jesus said “This is My command. Love each other.” I can love myself and others as I learn who I am and how to receive Your love. Everything You do is motivated by Your great love. All serving must be rooted in Your love. My mind is being renewed in my new identity by spending more time with You and hearing Your heart from the Word. In Your presence, you fill me with great joy.

We ARE the body of Christ, the FULLNESS of Him who fills all in all. (Ephesians 1:22-23) From THIS

fellowship as a child I want to first serve You by giving all my heart, soul, strength and mind to You. Your Spirit fills my heart with Your love to love You, myself and then others. The more I pursue Christ, the more I will act like your

daughter, a heir of Christ, instead of my own fleshly wants, desires and fears. This releases Holy Spirit to be Your arm extended to others through my life. Father, Christ, Holy Spirit- each of You continues to reveal to me the beautiful picture of serving, for a heart of serving is preferring others before oneself. Thank You for choosing me to be in Your family and to reveal Christ through my life. A day of serving is a day of walking in my identity and sharing that freedom with others. It is done by knowing what You have said in Your word, recognizing Your voice, and simply allowing You to flow through me.
