In the interim , a call for members of the public to register themselves as interested and affected parties in the LSDF drafting process has been placed on the City ’ s ‘ have your say ’ portal ’ which can be accessed here . All registered individuals will be directly informed of the public participation process and future workshops / focus groups .

During the public participation process , the draft LSDF report will be made available to the public for review and comment . A 30-day comment period is scheduled where the public will be invited to comment on the spatial vision and to contribute with further proposals . A virtual copy of the Draft document will also be available on the City ’ s website , while hardcopies will be available for viewing at the Sub-Council 6 office as well as the Bellville Library . Two open days are planned , the dates of which will be made known in the New Year . In addition , targeted workshops will be held with key stakeholder groups .
