4 . Can you identify some career highlights or achievements , upcoming projects or ventures you are particularly excited about ? I have really enjoyed the 20 years that I have been in the real-estate sector , part of which was helping build the top real-estate business in Mauritius .
I am really excited to help build a strong real-estate focused business with Sable that will allow clients the opportunity to invest in the best global real-estate assets . Or to allow them to have a greater global freedom of movement . I am a big believer in having the freedom and ability to move around the world , whether this is due to a 2nd passport or residency , but also having the hard currency revenue stream to do so .
5 . What role do you see technology playing in the future of your industry , and how are you preparing for it ? Sable takes a very pragmatic approach using to technology to assist in servicing clients in an organised and transparent manner . This is a continual work in progress .
6 . How do you maintain a work-life balance while managing your professional responsibilities ? What do you like most about what you do and the least ? I have found over the years that with a career and young children , that the normal day is not long enough . I get up at 5am to start my day with a coffee and some quiet time , and then some exercise . Therefore I have the rest of the day to focus on work . Then when I get home at around 6pm I have some time to spend with my family around the dinner table .
Important for me is to ensure that as a family we have regular holidays together . We all love travelling and this allows us to spend focused time together .
From a work perspective , I enjoy building strong teams and it gives me great satisfaction once the team is running well and most importantly , everyone is happy . I firmly believe that work needs to be enjoyable . It ’ s not always going to be fun , but it needs to be overweighted to being
