Case Study - Flt Lt Hodson
During my time with 4626 I have deployed to Afghanistan twice , once as a Flight Nurse and once as an Emergency Department Team Leader . I have also deployed to Sierra Leonne in support of the Ebolla outbreak .
I have learnt to ski through the RAF Ski Championships and learnt to scuba dive . I have travelled abroad on numerous occasions including presenting at an International Reserves Conference in Brussels and worked alongside the Air National Guard in Utah . I have been lucky enough to have had a number of nursing courses funded for me through the Reserves including Aeromedical Evacuation , Battlefield Advanced Trauma Life Support , Advanced Life Support and Major Incident Medical Management and Support courses .
I have , and continue to , enjoyed my time in the RAF Reserves and can highly recommend it .”
