What qualifications do I need ?
This is specific to the role which you are applying for and whether you will be applying for a non-commissioned or commissioned role . Please refer to the role information available on the RAF recruitment website .
What will my initial training involve ?
New recruits will attend RAF Halton for the Basic Recruit Training Course . This will teach you all the basics you need to know in your new military life - such as weapon handling skills ( remember you are joining the armed forces ).
For those applicants who are applying for a commissioned role , your training will include the Reserve Officer Initial Training course at RAF Cranwell .
