Reminder
The following should have been attended to by now :
• Annual General Meeting paperwork to Region Leader
• District Fee paid to Support Centre
• Biscuit account paid to Support Centre
Girl Guides Queensland also complies with the Youth Worker requirements of The Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian , by requiring Leaders to obtain a Blue Card / Positive Notice . All GGQ Leaders complete a Keeping Children Safe orientation in relation to policies and procedures regarding the protection of children from abuse .
It is recommended that each Support Group member obtain a Blue Card / Positive Notice and complete a Keeping Children Safe training , to give the option to assist with Guide activities , camps and fundraising events when girls are present . Your District Leader can help you with forms and training opportunities .
